Fatal car accident in Florence | News

FLORENCE, KY (FOX19) -- One person has died in a car accident early Sunday morning.

A short time after 2:00am, Florence Police were called to an accident in the southbound lanes at I-75 at the exit ramp to Mt. Zion Road.

Police discovered that Ford Taurus was traveling south when the vehicle traveled left of the roadway. The car rolled several times and the driver was ejected.

The driver, 25-year-old James Duncan Jr. of Independence, KY was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is still under investigation. So far alcohol involvement is undetermined until toxicology results  are released.
