Pro-gun rally to be held in West Chester, NKY | News

FOX19/AP- Supporters of gun-rights in Ohio and Northern Kentucky are planning a rally as part of a national campaign aimed at strengthening opposition against proposed new gun laws.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that the Ohio rally will begin at noon on February 23rd and is one of many events being organized across the country. The "Day of Resistance" rally will be held at The Square at Union Centre in West Chester.

In addition, Northern Kentucky supporters will hold a rally on the same day, from noon until 2 p.m. at the BlueStar Building in Florence. Guests scheduled to include Congressman Thomas Massie, Boone Co. Sheriff Mike Helmig and more.

Organizers say the goal is to rally opposition against the proposed laws and raise awareness of what gun-rights supporters say are attacks on their right under the U.S. Constitution to keep and bear arms.
