Florence dental employee sentenced for stealing $250,000 from her job | Crime

FLORENCE, KY (FOX19) - A Florence woman will spent the next 18 months in federal prison for stealing $250,000 from her employer.

Sandra Baker, 37, was sentenced on Friday by a United States District Court Judge.

In December of 2008, Baker pleaded guilty to the charge of Aggravated Identity Theft. Baker served as an administrative assistant at a Florence dental office. She opened a credit card in her employer’s name and made several unauthorized purchases for more than four years.

Under federal law, Baker must serve 85 percent of her prison sentence.
