NKY Skyline Chili restaurants pledge $25,000 to children's home
FLORENCE, KY (FOX19) - Northern Kentucky’s Skyline Chili restaurants have dished up a $25,000 donation for the Diocesan Catholic Children’s Home Capital Campaign.
The Fort Mitchell-based Children’s Home houses up to34 boys and girls ages 6 to 14 that have been placed in the Home’s care by the state. The money from the Skyline restaurants will go toward the Children’s Home’s $3.8 million Capital Campaign, which is funding construction of a new multipurpose building, including a gymnasium.
The donation was presented to the Home by Gary Holland, who owns and operates Skyline restaurants in Independence, Taylor Mill, Richwood, Dry Ridge and on Industrial Road in Florence.
“The Children’s Home means so much to so many in Northern Kentucky,” said Holland, a Northern Kentucky native and resident and Skyline’s largest franchisee.
