For your yearly (monthly) fee you will have just what our name says, total access to your physician. That means:
*Appointments on the day that you need them and for more than the standard 10-20 minutes provided in many practices. If you need an hour, we’ll give you an hour (and you won’t have to pay extra).
* You will have your physician’s email address and cell phone number; when you have questions you don’t have to go through the multiple layers of office staff that are often seen in other practices in order to reach your doctor.
* If you are in the hospital, your doctor is taking care of you and coordinating with specialists on your case, not the physician who is on “hospital duty”. Although there are two or three doctors in the practice, you will have only one.
* You will also not have to worry about going to the urgent care if you are ill or injured in the evening. Your physician will try to help you over the phone, and if the situation requires it, you will be met at the office or ER to be taken care of by your doctor.
* Your fee will also cover a once yearly comprehensive history and physical exam that includes blood chemistries and cholesterol test, EKG and other age appropriate in office screenings (we would not have the capability of providing x-rays or mammograms, those would be covered by you or your insurance, should they be required).
* Lab and x-ray results explained to you by your physician (not the medical assistant or nurse) the day they are available, either by phone or in person, including a discussion of what they mean and what you may need to do about them.
